JA MARONT WINS NBA "ROOKIE OF THE YEAR" AWARD

MEMPHIS GRIZZLES POINT GUARD, JA MARONT EARNED 99 OUT OF 100 VOTES

On Thursday, the NBA announced that the Memphis Grizzlies point guard, Ja Maront has been awarded the Rookie Of The Year Award for 2020 beating New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson with a 99 out of 100 votes.

 Maront finished his rookie season averaging 17 points and 7 assists. Morant has appeared to be poised to be the future of the franchise as the Grizzlies traded star point guard, Mike Conley to Utah Jazz

Ja left Murray state with an exceptional sophomore season averaging a double double and leading his team to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2018
