Rapper, Russ is known to be one of the most successful independent artiste and also one who has a very good understanding of the music business.

In one of his live sessions, he broke down the reason why artistes (most especially rappers) do end up broke despite being offered a million dollar record deal; Russ gave a step by step break down of how the money gets reduced from the payments to the mangers, lawyers, business managers and then taxes leaving the artistes with less than 500,000 Dollars.
